i have a feeling that when i find another job, i'll have two versions of my resignation letter. the first of course will be a 'g-rated' version so i can live through the following two weeks. the 'unrated director's cut' will probably be left in my own files, or i'll forward it to my previous employer a few months later.

than again, maybe not.

Wow this is seriously ironic. I've been a reader for awhile and have enjoyed the similarities of your humorously depressing office job and my humorously depressing office job. It's eerie how well I can relate to many of the moments in your strip based on my own "cubicle period" a few years ago, so I knew it was only a matter of time before I'd see the letter that basically says,"Thanks, but I'm done wasting my life here!"

Funny... I didn't give my boss 2 weeks notice. I just left the company credit card, and the SIM card out of the company phone on my desk. I still need to drop the office keys off at some point though. I might've been more civil and professional if... well, if he had been! Good luck to you, though.
